Who the heck is this guy?
I’m 32 and live in Naples, Fla. I’m a lifelong Chicago sports fan who occasionally tries to grow a tomato plant or two in my yard. I bought my house (and 1.5 acres of land) a few years ago, and I’ve been bound and determined to get SOMETHING edible to grow on it ever since.
My summers are consumed by the Chicago White Sox, at least until they tank it in June. Then it’s only a semi-consumption. And thank God for mlb.tv, perhaps the greatest gift the Internet has bestowed on us.
I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2000, and I allow myself to get way too caught up emotionally in Mizzou football and men’s basketball. But, hey, that’s the fun part, right?
